PennDOT resumes driver's tests at license centers

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WJAC) — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced Tuesday that driver’s skills tests, including motorcycle skills tests, will resume at reopened Driver License Centers. PennDOT officials say tests that were canceled because of the COVID-19 pandemic will be given priority in rescheduling tests by calling the PennDOT Driver and Vehicle Services Call Center at 717-412-5300. ALTOONA, Pa (WJAC) — Altoona police are investigating an early morning shots fired incident near a local bar. Police say officers were dispatched to the area near Zach's Sports Bar, located along 6th Ave., just before 1 a.m. Thursday, for multiple reports of shots being fired. Officers say several individuals fled the area when police arrived. Police say officers did recover shell casings in the bar's parking lot. Convicted murderer continues to appeal evidence in decades old case in Centre County

The defendant claims he was wrongly convicted, partially due to the role of the FBI reviewing the evidence.
