Hollidaysburg man killed in head-on crash on Route 22 in Huntingdon Co.

Huntingdon Co., PA (WJAC) — State police in Huntingdon County say a Hollidaysburg man was killed Wednesday morning in a head-on crash along Route 22 in Smithfield Township. Troopers say 49-year-old Eric Turner was traveling eastbound, around 5:30 a.m., when he crossed into the westbound lane of travel and struck a tractor-trailer head-on. Investigators say Turner was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the tractor-trailer was not injured in the crash. [Read More]

That’s the goal of a growing number of veterinarians nationwide as a new treatment is showing positive results in fighting what can be a deadly virus for dogs. Pottstown, PA (WCAU) — At least four people are dead after an explosion in a Pennsylvania neighborhood. The blast happened at a home in Pottstown Thursday evening.
