Former Sandusky prosecutor wins appeal to continue practicing law in Delaware

STATE COLLEGE, Pa (WJAC) — One of the lead prosecutors in the Jerry Sandusky child abuse case, Frank Fina, is still practicing law, in Delaware. Fina's law license in Pennsylvania was suspended this year, after the state supreme court ruled that he engaged in improper conduct in the Sandusky case. SCI Cresson property sold

CRESSON -- The State Correctional Institution property, which has remained empty for years, was sold this week. A spokesperson for the Pennsylvania Department of General Services said the property, of more than 300 acres, was sold to Carl Weaver of Smicksburg, Pennsylvania. According to the department, it is unclear what Weaver will do with the property, and his plan for its future was not required with a bid. Defendant will testify in Somerset murder trial, attorney says

SOMERSET, Pa. — Jamie McVicker, accused of killing his ex-girlfriend Brittney Kyle and attempting to kill her boyfriend in February of last year, will take the stand during his trial, his attorney said Wednesday. According to police, Kyle and her boyfriend, Tyrell Ferguson, went to McVicker’s house to pick up Kyle’s cats. She and McVicker had recently separated after a long-term relationship.
