More charges filed against Hyndman man accused of having unlawful contact with teen

Bedford County, PA (WJAC) — According to online court records, additional charges have been filed against a Hyndman man accused of having unlawful contact with a 14-year-old girl. PSU football tickets to experience slight increase in 2018

UNIVERSITY PARK -- Penn State football tickets will experience a slight increase in price in 2018. University officials announced Monday that ticket prices will increase by $35, or $5 per game, next season at Beaver Stadium. It will be the first season-ticket price increase since the 2009 season. Donation levels will remain the same for next season, which will feature seven games in Beaver Stadium. After welcoming two baby groundhogs in March, Punxsutawney Phil and wife, Phyllis, have announced the names of their children Sunday morning. Volunteers promote Johnstown Free Clinic

JOHNSTOWN -- Volunteers in bright yellow vests converged on downtown Johnstown Monday afternoon to promote theJohnstown Free Medical Clinic. Many of them were from AmeriCorps, and they were handing out pamphlets and telling people about the clinic's outreach programs, particularly the needle exchange program. BAKERSFIELD (KMPH) — It's not an uncommon sight to see water running down the road where Steven and Cassandra Amick live in East Bakersfield. Surrounded by farmland, Edison Road is one of the areas that fills up with fast-moving water when it rains. Being near Caliente Creek and the mountains, melting snow and rain can trigger flooding. Cassandra said the water in front of their house rose two-and-a-half feet in a period of 30 minutes Thursday, after a Flash Flood Watch was issued by the National Weather Service - Hanford. Central PA Humane Society vandalized, officials say

ALTOONA, Pa. (WJAC) — Officials with the Central PA Humane Society says they were the victims of vandalism Tuesday. They said the vandals were not able to enter the shelter, so all the animals are safe; however, the outside of the building and the two shelter vehicles were extensively damaged. DEP orders gas company to monitor air quality in area of leak

2nd UPDATE|Cambria Co., PA (WJAC) — Authorities with the Department of Environmental Protection provided a statement to 6 News Wednesday, confirming that it has ordered the Equitrans Midstream gas company to conduct an air quality check in the area of Rager Mountain where a natural gas leak was reported Sunday night. DEP officials say they also ordered the company to conduct a gas mitigation investigation.
