UPDATE |CENTRE COUNTY, Pa. — Authorities in Centre County say several area departments were called to a house fire Wednesday morning in Spring Township.
Officials say the home suffered major damage in the blaze and the young family reportedly "lost everything," including a pet.
Authorities say no injuries were reported by the residents and the cause remains under investigation.

Somerset community mourns loss of hardworking CriLon Corp. employees in crash
Family members of the victims tell us that Jesse Mckenzie, Robert Hampe, and Phil Hinebaugh were killed Wednesday morning in the crash on I-83 in York County. They were all from the Somerset area and worked for CriLon Corp. Family members confirmed that it was Hinebaugh’s first day on the job.

Former Steelers' Super Bowl Champion RB Sidney Thornton dead at 68
Pittsburgh (WJAC) — The Pittsburgh Steelers announced Wednesday that former, 2-time Super Bowl champion running-back Sidney Thornton has passed away at age 68.
Thornton was drafted by Pittsburgh in 1977 and was part of the franchise's Super Bowl teams in 1979 and 1980.
Thornton spent six years in the NFL, all with the Steelers, rushing for over 1,500 yards in his career.
He also tallied 24 combined touchdowns in his career.

Richland Township police make arrest in armed robbery
RICHLAND TOWNSHIP – Richland Township police have made an arrest in Tuesday night’s armed robbery at the Honey Bear Mini Mart convenience store at 3100 Elton Road.
Police said they arrested Zach Nagel, of Windber, after getting a tip on Facebook.
Police said Nagel was armed with a gun and got away with an undisclosed amount of money around 7 p.m. Nagel also told the clerk "he would blow his head off.

TurboTax users in PA to receive checks for money owed to them
PA, (WOLF) — TurboTax users in Pennsylvania will be receiving money owed to them from a multi-state settlement against the company.
According to Attorney General Michelle Henry, consumers who were misled into paying for free tax services by TurboTax’s owner, Intuit, should expect reimbursement from a $141 million multi-state settlement. All 50 states have signed onto the agreement.
Pennsylvania alone will receive ober $4.76 million for the 158,779 consumers who were tricked into paying to file their federal tax return.

Nurses from UPMC Altoona took took their fight to the steps of UPMC Headquarters on Wednesday morning to address the staffing crisis they say is facing their hospital.
