ST. GEORGE, UTAH (KUTV) — Roughly 24 pounds of fentanyl were seized and a drug trafficker arrested after a traffic stop in Utah in early May, according to authorities. KUTV obtained body camera video showing the arrest and seizure of an estimated 108,000 counterfeit oxycodone pills (with fentanyl). Cambria County Prison introducing new 'bio-grade' air filtration for health and savings

CAMBRIA COUNTY, Pa. (WJAC) — Officials are hoping a new air filtration system at the Cambria County Prison will help save tax payers money. The county recently taking advantage of a grant to install a level five bio-grade security health system. Cambria County is only one of four in the state taking advantage so far, according to county leaders. The system will be installed by Germ Solutions USA. Steelers signing former Cardinals LB to one-year deal

Pittsburgh (WJAC) — According to NFL Insider Adam Schefter, the Pittsburgh Steelers are reportedly signing former Arizona Cardinals linebacker Markus Golden to a one-year deal. Golden was drafted by Arizona in the second round of the 2015 NFL Draft. He went on to play a couple of seasons for the New York Giants before returning for a second stint with the Cardinals. PITTSBURGH (WJAC) — According to a report from NFL Insider Mike Garafolo, the Pittsburgh Steelers and quarterback Mitch Trubisky have reportedly agreed to "mutually part ways." Trubisky was drafted by the Chicago Bears in the first round of the 2017 NFL Draft. After spending four seasons in Chicago, and one in Buffalo, Trubisky signed a two-year deal with Pittsburgh in 2022. Altoona PD seeking new leads into year-old, 'violent' home invasion

BLAIR COUNTY, Pa (WJAC) — Altoona police are asking the public's help in solving a year-old, "violent" home invasion. Police say on the night of May 27, 2023, multiple suspects reportedly broke into a home along the 800 block of 18th Ave. and "physically restrained" a 70-year-old female resident. Authorities say the suspects then "violently" assaulted the victim by punching her in the head and face and then striking her with CO2 powered handgun. [Read More]
