NEW YORK (AP) — Police cleared 30 to 40 people from inside Columbia University's Hamilton Hall late Tuesday after pro-Palestinian protesters occupied the administration building in New York earlier in the day.
NYPD officers acted after the school’s president said there was no other way to ensure safety and restore order on campus and sought help from the department. The occupied building had expanded the demonstrators' reach from an encampment elsewhere on the Ivy League school's grounds.

THE HAGUE, Netherlands (TND) — The chief prosecutor of the International Criminal Court said Monday he is seeking arrest warrants for Israeli and Hamas leaders, including Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in connection with their actions during the seven-month war.
Karim Khan said that he believes Netanyahu, his defense minister Yoav Gallant and three Hamas leaders — Yehya Sinwar, Mohammed Deif and Ismail Haniyeh — are responsible for war crimes and crimes against humanity in the Gaza Strip and Israel.

Authorities say an investigation is underway after 26 barges broke loose on the Ohio River Friday night.
Officials say it happened just before 11:30 p.m., and involved barges owned or operated by Campbell Transportation Company.
Police say 23 of the barges were loaded with dry cargo, and none of the 26 contained hazardous materials.
So far, no injuries have been reported, but a marina sustained extensive damage.
Of the barges that broke loose, 11 are pinned against the bank by Brunot Island and are being held by a tugboat.

A bill being called "Alyssa’s Law" named after Alyssa Alhadeff, one of the 17 victims in a shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida in 2018, is being proposed by representatives in the state house and senate.
If passed, the bill would require all public schools to have silent panic buttons in classrooms that would be directly connected to nearby law enforcement according to officials.
They said the button is for life-or-death situations and would draw a quick response.

It's part of their Hackney Diamonds Tour.
The rock and roll hall of famers also performed the first concert in Gillette Stadium history on Sept. 2, 2002.
